Sauer Model 1919 (mid model)

History:

This second type of the model 1919 was produced since approx. number 24.000. Like the bigger model 1913 an additionnal spring was placed below the safety lever in order to block the trigger-bar in addition to the trigger, which was blocked by the saftey-lever.
This should prevent the loaded and save pistol from releasing by the shock when falling to ground.
Besides this the construction was absolute identical to the one of the preceeding model.
This type was produced about up to 1926 and approx. up to number 45.000.
